The V2 version of the software offers improved one-touch, quick adjustment of therapy settings. Connected mode restricts the CPAP device to only communicating with the computer during specified scheduled times. Any other computer network connections are turned off to limit possible risks to both the patient and the healthcare provider.
The V2 also offers a new option of “Standby Mode” allows the Philips Respironics pressure management system to remain in a “quiet” monitor mode. In this mode, the display screen remains at the CPAP set pressure displayed in the V2 software along with a message to the healthcare provider indicating that the system is in a “standby” mode and will not change pressure.
Users can customize the TCH display by selecting one of four preset time intervals (example: “4,3,2,1 hours”). This enables clinicians to view comprehensive data at a frequent set time intervals. TCH displays all the parameters that are collected and saved within the selected interval. These include APP usage, pressure, AHI score, lead and lag times, mean pressure output, and COMA. The patient can increase the selected interval or decrease it by pressing the “Up” or “Down” buttons.
Amplify and accelerate your therapy with default CPAP mode. Intelligently control the pressure delivered to the patient’s airway through a range of adjustments including the power and pressure waves. The power wave is a continuous adjustment by using an exact pressure so that excess pressure is not delivered to the patient. d2c66b5586
