Maximum integer value when multiplying integers in python?
Lets say that I have an integer
number = 40
And I want to multiply it by a two digit integer
multiply = 34
If I just do
number * multiply
What is the maximum value I would be able to get? Can I get it in python, or is it platform dependent?
In python, the standard library uses the long type and integers up to that limit. In your example, you could write multiply = long(34) and get the maximum integer value for multiplying. See the integer types and its limits section of the Python reference.
Eclipse: how to import an existing JAR but without showing in the GUI?
The project I am working on is a tiny library with some well organized classes. There is some functionality which can be used in two or more of the projects, so I would like to create a JAR containing all the classes, and add it to one of the projects (let's say the "default" project).
But when I create a new JAR project and generate the classes (using Maven) I see all the classes from the default project. How can I tell Eclipse to use the default classes and still export an updated JAR without showing the classes to the user?
Since there are several answers, I will try to explain a bit.
I have a dependency to two jars: core-1.0.jar and core-2.0.jar. These jars contains classes from a common library. I want to use core-1. 0b46394aab
